On this day in 1969, the humble beginnings of the internet began to take root. On that day, two computers were being networked or linked together to communicate with each other for the first time. It was then that the ARPANET network was coming alive. The ARPANET network eventually gave way to what the internet is today. So Happy 52nd Birthday to the Internet!
